HORMANN SECTIONAL DOOR INSTALLATION OPTIONS

Internal Face Fix Installation

This is where the track and operator are fitted behind the brickwork opening. This type of installation maximises the drive-through width and height.

Internal Face Fix Space requirements

A minimum of 90mm each side behind the opening is required for Side and Torsion sprung doors.

A minimum of 115mm head room is required for Side Sprung doors up to 3000mm wide.

A minimum of 210mm head room is required for Torsion Spring doors.

Rear torsion with an optional extra low head room kit is available where there is restricted head room.  The head room requirement for the Tear Torsion is 115mm.

Reveal Fit Installation

This is where the door and track are fitted inbetween the brickwork opening.  This installation reduces the drive-through width and height.

For the Hormann sectional door, the frame size is 95mm at each side and 115mm at the top of the opening.
