Insulated Roller Garage Doors

Garage doors can be a major source of heat loss. However, our SecureRoll strong twin-walled aluminium lath profiles are manufactured with an advanced insulated foam core, providing strength and significantly reducing heat loss.

Space-Saving Design

The Roller shutter garage doors we have for sale are renowned for their unique space-saving design, maximising space inside the garage and allowing you to park up to the garage door. Our roller garage doors are available in a wide range of standard colours and woodgrain finishes to create a classic or contemporary finish to any home.

The smaller 55mm Compact roller door has been developed specifically for garages with limited headroom and has a smaller roll mechanism than the 77mm lath door.

Warranty

SecureRoll’s roller garage doors come with a 5-year warranty no matter what finish you choose. All finishes are highly resilient against all weather conditions. Roller garage doors are also fitted with a weather strip seal. This will act as a prevention against rain ingress.

Installation Options

Internal Face Fix

The most popular type, where the guides are installed to the inside face of the garage opening with the roll fitted to the back of the lintel, maximising the drive-through width and height.

Reveal Fix

A popular method of installation if there is no room on the inside or if you need to maximise the internal length of your garage. The door and guides fitted within the opening with the roll under the lintel.

Half Reveal

A mixture of internal face fix and reveal fix for the guides, where there is a pier on one side and a flush wall on the other.

External Face Fix

Where the door is fitted on the outside face of the garage. This means the box is visible from the outside and the concave face of the door curtain slats face outwards.

How to Measure

Internal Face Fix

Measure the structural opening width (brick to brick) from the inside of the garage. Measure the opening width at the top, middle and bottom of the opening as this will check that the opening is plumb.

Measure the structural opening height (floor to underside of lintel). Measure the opening height at the left, middle and right side of the opening.

As the roller mechanism and guides will be fixed behind the opening, check you have enough room to fit the guides behind the piers and roll behind the lintel. With the internal face fix installation, the overall width and height of the door will be the opening width plus guides and opening height plus roll.

Reveal Fix

Measure the structural opening width (brick to brick) in the same way as for the internal face fix above. Measure the opening width at the top, middle and bottom of the opening as this will check that the opening is plumb.

Measure the structural opening height (floor to underside of lintel), measuring the opening height on the left, middle and right side of the opening. For the reveal fix, this measurement will include the roll mechanism.

It is possible to install a roller door as a reveal fix for the guides and face fix for the roll but will require the guides to be positioned in the reveal where the end plates can be fixed to the back of the lintel. For this type of installation, the back of the lintel cannot be in line with the back of the brick piers.

Half Reveal for Guides

Measure the structural opening width (brick return to flush wall) from the inside of the garage. Measure the opening width at the top, middle and bottom of the opening as this will check that the opening is plumb.

Manual Overrides

Internal manual Override: Included as standard provided there is another access into the garage. In the event of a power failure, the manual winding handle can be used to open and close the door from inside of the garage.

External Manual Override: If there is no other access into the garage, a low level external manual override can be supplied and allows you to open and close the garage from outside using a simple crank handle and a lockable cover for security
